Balancing movement

The techniques in the Balancing Movement class develop muscle elasticity, flexibility, and relaxation. The exercises in the class prevent and correct incorrect postures caused by muscle imbalance, and help the body move optimally and economically. Techniques for body maintenance come from practices such as yoga, Pilates, Ido Portal methods, the Alexander Technique, and Eastern disciplines. Mobility is mostly practiced by loading and stimulating the muscles. In addition to mobility, the class focuses on the functionality, control, and balance of the body.
