Contemporary/Repertoire

The class focuses on developing performance skills and expression, while respecting each student’s unique personal style. It also addresses managing stage fright and offers tools to overcome it, providing support for performance situations even outside of dance. The group will perform in the Christmas and spring performances, and possibly in other dance events as well.

Participation requires at least two years of experience in some style of dance. In addition to the contemporary/repertoire class, students are expected to attend another dance class, such as contemporary dance, though students from other styles are also welcome.
