Jazz

The classes consist of jazz technique exercises, moving combinations and small choreographies. Isolation of different parts of the body and rhythmical, vibrant movements are a central part of jazz dance.

Changes in classes | Jazz and contemporary dance classes will merge by levels after Midsummer. See the times and levels here. The combined classes will move to Studio LEI2 starting from Monday, June 22nd, where the teaching will combine the rhythmic nature of jazz dance with the natural movement characteristic of contemporary dance.

Choosing your level | In the summer season, register for the same level as in the year 2025–26, unless you are instructed otherwise by your teacher. However, students who have danced at the Beginners 1 level in 2025–26 will enroll in the Beginners 2 level in the summer season.
