Contemporary

The classes work on coordination, elasticity and wholesome movement and are based on influences from different styles of modern dance. Classes include floorwork, a moving section and combinations.

Changes in classes | Jazz and contemporary dance classes will merge by levels after Midsummer. The combined classes will be at Studio LEI2 starting from Monday, June 22nd, where the teaching will combine the rhythmic nature of jazz dance with the natural movement characteristic of contemporary dance.

Choosing your level | In the summer season, register for the same level as in the year 2025–26, unless you are instructed otherwise by your teacher. However, students who have danced at the Beginners 1 level in 2025–26 will enroll in the Beginners 2 level in the summer season.
