Ballet | 29.6–3.7.

Who is this camp for?

Adults and teens who have studied classical ballet for about two years can register for the city camp.

Camp program

Each camp day starts with a floor barre lesson that strengthens and refines your technique, followed by character dance class.  After the lunch break we will continue with classical ballet dance class. At the end of the ballet class, we spend a quarter hour learning point technique (students who don’t want to do this can dance in its soft ballet shoes). A day full of dance is completed with a body conditioning and stretching class.

09.15–10.15  Floor barre – Emma Monto KAMP2
10.30–12.00 Character dance – Eliisa Nenonen KAMP1
13.30–15.00  Ballet – Eliisa Nenonen KAMP1
15.15–16.15  Body conditioning / stretching – Hilppa Huusman KAMP1

What to bring? For character dance classes students need shoes with leather shoe soles and about 3 cm heels. Students can also use soft ballet shoes for the point technique part. It is a good idea to bring your own yoga / exercise mat for body conditioning / stretching lessons.
