Hip hop

Energetic and physical hip hop classes combine the relationship between music and movement with the freedom of self-expression. Classes practice a variety of movements from different eras of hip hop, and emphasize teamwork and the communal nature of dance.

Hip hop classes offer a relaxed and inspiring environment where everyone can develop their own movement language and dance skills. Classes focus on technique, freestyle and choreography, the style of which is adapted to the music used in the class. During the class, you will also have the opportunity to try out your own movements and styles and practice producing your own movements. We will also learn about understanding hip hop culture.

The sport began in the streets and clubs and later also ended up in dance halls. Originally, it was not a performing sport – the most important thing was the feeling and dancing together. Dance has always been a communal experience, and hip hop classes continue this tradition.

Hip hop classes are physical but fun. They emphasize a relaxed atmosphere, and the most important thing is the joy of dancing, self-expression and moving to the rhythm together with others. Welcome to learn, throw yourself and enjoy!

Classes are joint with adults.

Equipment: casual clothing suitable for movement and flat-soled sneakers (no black soles).
