Dance technique with heels is practiced, such as weight transfer when walking, correct body alignment, rotations and moving on the floor. During the classes, we first warm up without shoes and do some technique and ankle strengthening exercises, exercises across the floor and at the end a dance series, which is mostly quite feminine and based on commercial dance.
For classes, you need preferably stiletto-heeled shoes intended for dancing, which stay well on your feet. At first, you can also start with some lower/thicker heels, as long as they are not outdoor shoes.
You don’t necessarily need experience in dancing in heels, but previous experience in dancing and, for example, knowing the basics of ballet, show or jazz dance technique is necessary.
