Ballet

Through barre work the classes work on the basic movements of ballet, the correct position of the body, turn out, strength and flexibility. Also rhythm, musicality and expressional skills are in focus.

** Basics of pointe technique start in these intermediates 1 classes. Starting from the level intermediates 2, the pointe work takes the last 10 to 15 minutes of the class. It entails a barre part with basic drills that strengthen the technique, middle floor drills as well as small dance sequences in the middle of the floor or through the space. This part can also be danced in soft ballet shoes.

Contemporary ballet: Class focuses on body placement, and the technical growth for dancers that are more comfortable with the freedom/flow of contemporary or modern dance.
Soft ballet: During the class, we will work on ballet technique while keeping the adult body in mind.

PLEASE NOTE! The Saturday advanced ballet class 22693 is full. It is not possible to join the class with a make up slip.
