Showdance

Show dance is an energetic and versatile dance form that combines different styles, such as jazz, street, disco and Latin dances. It is a spectacular and expressive form that emphasizes the interpretation of music, performance and energy. Show dance is often seen in various performances and competitions, as its goal is to provide the audience with a visually impressive experience.

Classes are designed to practice a variety of dance techniques, body control and expression. Typically, classes include a warm-up, muscle conditioning and technique exercises, and various dance sequences. Technique exercises are especially aimed at spectacular pirouettes, jumps and acrobatic elements, which are an important part of show dance. The main part is played by various dance sequences that combine showiness, attitude and the rhythm of the music. Current hits are often used as music.

At the Beginners 1–2 level, classes are shared with adults.

Equipment: Tight-fitting t-shirt and leggings/sports shorts. Bare feet or socks.
