Venelina began her classical training in Bulgaria under the instruction of Ms. Galia Miladinova. After moving to the United States, Venelina continued her training in New Jersey at the Atlantic City Ballet, followed by Dance New Amsterdam in New York City, and later the Washington Ballet where she truly embraced the Balanchine style of ballet training and performance. She guest performed with the Moscow Ballet, was a soloist at the Monarch Dance Company and for the Classical Repertoire Dance Theater in Washington DC, and others.

Venelina’s classes are focused on strong technique while embracing full body awareness, core engagement, and moving from the heart and soul. Her classes challenge the student’s physicality and mind – allowing time for long balances after each barre combination and offering strong center work.

In parallel with years of training and performing, Venelina has taught classes for all age groups and especially enjoys teaching adults.
